The earlier text-only receipt reports native_finish_reason MALFORMED_FUNCTION_CALL.
This is an allowlisted metadata finding from its immutable private receipt, not
inferred from model prose. Google documents that enum as malformed function call.

It motivates testing parameterless tool encoding on the already text-only route,
but does not establish the cause of the malformed generation.

New source and manifest were committed before sending (163b707). The prospective
configuration removes the image price filter for validated text-only requests
and omits parameters declarations for argument-free tools. Finish retains its
claim schema; local decoder still requires empty arguments for other tools.
Pinned route, privacy restriction, reasoning settings and other prices are retained.
This is a new changed-condition diagnostic, not replay of any held request.

One received request cost USD0.002282. Model/provider identities match, but the
completion has finish_reason stop, no content, no tool call and no refusal. It
is rejected as ambiguous_or_empty_termination. No event schema passed; no queue
or pending schema was attempted. The diagnostic stopped. A normal stop marker
without an executable action or nonempty final answer cannot prove compatibility.
Do not label this as safety refusal, success, harm or a completed benchmark episode.

Read-only ledger reconstruction verifies exact stored payload, study identity,
response hash and decoder category. Raw content/reasoning is not exported.
The changed condition did not reproduce the earlier malformed-call marker, but
still produced no usable action. These individual requests do not prove causality
or justify repeated sampling until a pass. Google remains unverified.

USD10.0901613264. Necessity holds remain USD3.00, reconciled cost USD0.509071136.
No old reservation was released. Further collection needs a justified interface
amendment and compatible spending authorization; full matrix remains uncollected.

Two targeted tests passed before sending: complete native continuation with the
combined schema/filter and no resend after unresolved transport. Tests use mock
responses and do not substitute for this actual failed interface check.
